Hello, Creators.
The Next Engine Preview beta branch, which has been running since March 5, will come to a close with the March 26 update. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all Creators who participated during the beta period.
◆ Test Results
Based on the data and feedback collected during the beta branch period, we have confirmed improved stability through the Unreal Engine 5.4 → 5.6 upgrade.
Positive results were observed in key areas including reduced crashes and performance improvements, and we are now preparing the official patch based on these findings.
◆ Upcoming Schedule
The official patch based on Unreal Engine 5.6 is scheduled to be applied in April.
The following improvements are expected with this patch:
Various bug fixes included in Unreal Engine 5.6 will be applied, leading to improved overall stability and a reduction in crashes.
Feature improvements in Unreal Engine 5.6 will be applied, allowing some users to experience performance gains depending on their environment.
Rendering improvements in Unreal Engine 5.6 will be reflected, resulting in enhanced overall reflection quality.
Additionally, memory optimization work is also scheduled to be patched in April.
As part of memory optimization, we are cleaning up unused resources to improve performance and stability, while ensuring stable gameplay across a variety of environments.
Reduced memory usage will result in smoother gameplay, with fewer temporary frame drops and stuttering, providing a more stable overall experience. Performance degradation during extended play sessions will also be minimized.
We will continue striving to provide a better inZOI experience.
Thank you,
The inZOI Team
