2026.03.04
Hello, Creators.
Following the official release of Unreal Engine 5.6, inZOI will be undergoing updates to its engine.
To give players a preview of what this means for the game, we are making the beta branch publicly available prior to live release.
◆ Objectives
By making the beta branch available to players, we aim to test features introduced in Unreal Engine 5.6, including crash fixes and performance improvements.
◆ Period Available
March 5, 2026 (Thu) - until the engine update's release
※ Only available on Steam.
◆ How to Participate
Select inZOI from your Steam library
Right-click inZOI and open Properties
Go to the Game Versions & Betas menu
Select next_engine from the list of beta branches
※ Selecting the beta branch will automatically download the version used in the build.
◆ Reporting Issues and Feedback
Any crashes that occur during testing will be automatically reported to the inZOI Team for review.
◆ Notes
Players may resume playing on the main branch at any time.
Save files from the beta branch are compatible with the main branch.
Due to version compatibility issues, mods cannot be used in the beta branch. Support for mods will be available in the live release.
We hope this gives players an opportunity to freely experience what an upgraded engine has to offer.
Feel free to share your feedback with us via Discord or the official inZOI forums.
Thank you,
The inZOI Team
